According to a survey, it has been reported that about 65% of adults who are 20 years and above can be identified as obese, about 17% of adolescents who are between age group of 12-19 years are actually overweight and lastly over 19% of children who are between age group of 6-11 years are also overweight. The conclusion is this that the Obesity is and will always exist to be a critical problem in the coming future times. Actually, it has been predicted that this problem of Obesity will be seen as an epidemic by the year 2020.
Everyone is well aware of the fact that being obese or overweight is really a bad thing and a bad name to have. Most of the people do not know about the harms, losses and risks of being obese and overweight. They are prone to Diabetes, high Blood Pressure, Psychological disorders, Respiratory problems, Cancer, Arthritis, and Strokes and so on. About 30,000 deaths in U.S. occur as a result of obesity.
A healthy weight loss program is the only solution to avoid being obese and related risks and attain a higher and longer life goals, happiness, and to become more fruitful and productive in your daily routines. Going behind the fast weight loss programs is nothing but wastage of time and money. 1. Start moving.

2. Eat smart.

If you are able to understand about low Glycemic index foods, high glycimic index foods, bad carbs and good carbs, then you can make out decisions more efficaciously. Eat more fruits and vegetables, stay away from sugar stuff, have protein but not in excess.
3. Eat small.
Try to divide your meals from 3 times to 5-6 times a day in small-small meals. You can go beyond that also like 7-8 times a day. This helps in denial of excess of food but not the denial of the pleasure of food. When you eat according to small meals then you feel fuller and you don’t land up on snacks and other stuffs.
4. Team up.
Make some what daily meetings with the people and friends who have the same goals as you, then you will fell it like fun and not only to be a healthy act. You do not need to avoid social gatherings if you are a diet which is purely healthy.
5. Think health.
Instead of losing weight, think of becoming healthy. Develop positive attitude and thoughts and wash out all the negative things from your body and mind. It works slowly but surely.
6. Get rest.
You feel tired only when there are some chemical changes taking place in your body. Also some substances are being released. This either result in weight gain or slow weight loss. So it is advised to involve in some kind of activity when ever you are rested.
7. Have fun.

8. Drink water.
People interpret the signals of thirst as hunger a lot of times. A glass of water can easily satisfy you many times. The thing is to keep your body fully hydrated which is also helpful in washing away the toxins from the body.
9. Don’t quit.
